Not only is it Monday here in Atlanta, but to top it off it is a rainy Monday. Talk about a double whammy! Well since it's so dreary outside I decided to brighten up my day with this outfit!
Here is the blazer in black! I don't know if ya'll are aware but Macy's launched a division of their clothing line called Impulse a few months back and it is AMAZING! It is filled with all sorts of contemporary designers like Rachel Roy, Kensie, and the designer of my blazer Bar III. The blazer is a little on the pricy side at $79.00 but still totally affordable and definitely a staple in my closet. I wear it to work, with shorts, over a maxi dress. This is definitely worth the price tag!
The tank top is Old Navy and can be found here. I am sure every girl has this tank top in their closet. I just bought this new one over the weekend at the Old Navy sale. Let me give you a piece of advice on white tank tops...something I was forced to admit this weekend...just because you have one doesn't mean you should wear it any longer! I have had the same white tank top since last summer...I love it but when I put it next to my new one it was actually more grey than white these days. My suggestion...buy 5 or 6 at a time (they are all really inexpensive) that way you are always chic and cute not dirty and dingy :)
The skirt is from H&M and I have had it forever. Here is a skirt from ASOS that is similar (and the $27 price tag isn't bad either!). I am a big fan of jersey skirts. I like them because they are a little more formfitting but at the same time not so structured. I like that the jersey material is comfortable and doesn't ride up as you walk...no one likes to have to pull down their skirt 1000 times a day!
My booties are from White House Black Market. My mum actually gave me these for Christmas after she bought them for herself and realized the heel was too high for her! I know what you are thinking...you have a stylish mum and it is true. Any day I get to raid her closet is a good day! Here is a cute substitute for mine. I found them at DSW!
The necklace I am wearing is from Forever 21. I love buying my accessories at Forever 21. I find the cutest stuff and this necklace was only $7.50 (instead of the usual price tag of at least $30!) Check out the accessories page here for some awesome necklaces!
Finally, my bag is actually a computer bag my sister bought me a few years ago for Christmas. However, I have been using it as a purse lately because it is just so gish darn cute. I found this one that is similar to mine on eBay for $24.
